- I used to have a recipe for a yeast bread with swirls of cinnamon and nuts in it and I lost... was able to make it without a bread machine and you would prepare it like a jelly roll rolling... a bread machine it uses bread flour none of them call for any sort of nut or some call for raisins

- Yes This is a Basic Nut Bread and then it gives many variations on the next page one of which is Apple Butter Nut Bread This is the basic recipe 1 1 2 to 2 cups white sugar or brown sugar 1 2 cup... of the bread should come out clean Apple Butter Nut BREAD Substitue apple butter for the milk and use 4 eggs

- My DD is on an only from scratch kick ah youth She wants to bake bread from scratch She tried the recipe in the TOH Cookbook and it left a lot to be desired Two tablespoons of salt just seemed outrageous Do you have a T amp T recipe for her to try Light and fluffy breads are what she prefers to eat

- I can t wait to make this I dug my bread machine out in November and have been making rolls and bread since I don t bake in my machine Just mix the dough and then form and bake in the oven I am excited to try this recipe for a new something different Anyone else have some other toppings they like

- My family has passed down a starter yeast for several generations It resides in my frig and I freshen it by adding 1 2 c sugar 2 c warm water 2 c bread flour and let stand on the counter for 3 hours Then I take half of it to make bread or biscuits It has been alive for at least 100 years without

School Spaghetti
- Oddly enough the tastiest spaghetti I ever enjoyed was in high school in the late 1960's. I wonder if there is a school cook (or retired school cook) out there who would have such a recipe. I've tried to duplicate it, and come close, but it's just not the same. They also had the best whole wheat rolls they served with the spaghetti!
