- I have a wreath for my door and I keep a small tree that I decorate year round I keep the lights white except for Valentines Day amp Saint Patrick s Day when I change them to red and green When we lived closer to the grandkids I went way out

what do you cook for New Years?
- My Dh is from the south he likes to have a sothern new years day meal salt pork black eyed peas and corn bread and greens of some kind well last year I smoked the house up with the salt pork I think... superstition of NOT WASHING CLOTHES ON NEW YEARS DAY So what does every one else cook
