Our September Challenge

After a visit to your local orchard or farmers market, whip up a cozy coffee cake with some of the apples you just bought. Just make sure to choose tart, firm apples for this recipe because they hold up better when baked. The sour cream keeps this cake moist, and the brown sugar-pecan topping tastes like a sprinkle of fall. Don’t forget to steep a cup of tea or brew a pot of coffee to serve alongside.
