McDonald’s Is About to Drop Its Highly-Anticipated Chicken Big Mac

October is going to be a good month for McDonald’s. The Pumpkin and Creme Pie is already on the fall menu, and the famous Halloween Boo Buckets will return soon. But wait—there’s more.

In 2022, McDonald’s debuted its Chicken Big Mac in the UK and Ireland, and it sold out completely in 10 days. It was the fast-food chain’s most popular launch ever in that region.

Due to its intense popularity across the pond, McDonald’s decided to test the Chicken Big Mac at certain locations in Miami in 2022. It made a splash and, now, it seems everyone is on the chicken sandwich train.

The people wanted a Chicken Big Mac in the United States, and McDonald’s is ready to deliver!

What is the Chicken Big Mac?

The Chicken Big Mac is exactly like the regular Big Mac, but instead of two all-beef patties, there will be two tempura-battered chicken patties. That means we’ll still have lettuce, pickles, onions, American cheese and Big Mac sauce on a sesame seed bun.

Until now, the only way to order a sandwich like this has been via the McDonald’s secret menu. You had to order two McChickens and a Big Mac and replace the Big Mac’s beef patties with chicken. There’s no need to DIY anymore because the Chicken Big Mac is the real deal.

When will the Chicken Big Mac drop?

This already-popular sandwich is set to drop on October 10, 2024. While we don’t yet know the cost, we imagine it’ll be close to the classic Big Mac price. It will only be available at participating McDonald’s locations for a limited time, so grab one while you can. This historic event deserves to be savored!
