Burger King Is Bringing Us an Addams Family Menu for Halloween

No matter when you grew up, there’s a high chance you’ve heard of the Addams family. Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandmama and Thing are known for their love of misfortune and all things dark. Lately, rumors have been flying around like bats that Burger King will feature a mini-menu takeover by the Addams family.

The rumors are true!

This October, you’ll find a handful of menu items inspired by this creepy bunch. Whether you watched The Addams Family on Halloween when you were a kid, or you’re watching the modern adaptations with your own kids, the Addams clan sure knows how to deliver Halloween spirit. What’s on the Addams Family menu at Burger King?

Snack food expert @markie_devo reports that four brand-new items are coming to Burger King for Halloween:

• Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake: Soft serve ice cream, chocolate cake batter fudge, brownie bits and sprinkles. Would Morticia approve? Only if Cleopatra can have some too.
• Gomez’s Churro Fries: These sweet and crunchy fries covered in cinnamon and sugar are to die for! Accompanied by a side of chocolate sauce, it’s reminiscent of Morticia’s chocolate shake, as well as Gomez and Morticia’s undying devotion to each other.
• Thing’s Rings and Other Things: Burger King’s classic onion rings in a special carton featuring our favorite disembodied hand, Thing.
• Wednesday Whopper: The dark queen herself inspired this eerie Whopper. The scrumptious burger looks like it includes two beef patties with lettuce, pickles, tomato, onion, ketchup and possibly Swiss cheese on royal purple buns. This burger is a one-of-a-kind, like its macabre inspiration.

Can you imagine grabbing a Wednesday Whopper on Whopper Wednesday? I sure can! While no prices have been announced yet, we can compare the Addams Family menu to like items. Morticia’s shake should be around $5, Gomez’s Churro fries around $7, Thing’s Rings and Other Things around $4 and Wednesday’s Whopper between $8 and $9.

When will the Addams Family menu drop?

The menu is set to drop October 10. While there is no definitive end date to the promotion, it’s likely to stop shortly after Halloween. Like McDonald’s Boo Buckets and Dunkin’s Munchkin buckets, the special items are only here to celebrate the ghostly holiday. Channel your inner Addams and give in to the darkness…we’ve heard it’s delicious!
