Watch Out, Krusty Krab: The Krabby Patty Is Coming to Wendy’s

Fictional food is oddly alluring, especially when it’s depicted like the Krabby Patty. Shrouded in mystery, this Krusty Krab menu staple has been part of SpongeBob SquarePants since 1999. What the heck is Mr. Krabs’ secret formula, and will I ever get to taste it myself? The time has come.

Wendy’s has taken it upon itself to give us that exact experience. With the Krabby Patty Kollab, we’ll be able to taste the famed fictitious cheeseburger and a Frosty with a fruity twist. Mr. Krabs isn’t going to be happy about this one.

Is there really a Krabby Patty on the menu?

Yes! It’s true. We’ll finally be able to firmly grasp the greatest fictional burger this side of the ocean. Here’s what’s on the menu:

• Krabby Patty Kollab Burger: If you’re a SpongeBob fan, you know what to expect. Pickles, onion, tomato, lettuce and American cheese on a juicy Wendy’s quarter-pound square patty, sandwiched between two soft buns. That’s not all, though—you can’t forget the secret formula. On top of this lip-smackin’ masterpiece is the ultimate addition: the Top Secret Krabby Kollab sauce.
• Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty: A totally tubular twist on the classic Wendy’s Frosty, this Sponge-specific treat consists of a vanilla Frosty with a pineapple mango puree swirl. This kind of Frosty flavor is a first for the U.S. market, so order it for yourself before it disappears. Don’t forget an order of fries to dip in your Frosty.

Wendy’s is no stranger to cookin’ up fast-food burgers on the regular. If their grill cooks are as dedicated as SpongeBob, the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger will have us all lining up at the door.
