Forget the Big Mac! Have you ever picked up an order of spaghetti at McDonald's?
When we think of McDonald’s, we tend to think of its best-selling menu items—the famous fries, Big Macs and McNuggets. The Grimace shake may come to mind for some dedicated TikTok fans. But a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs doesn’t rank high on the list of items you’d expect to find at McDonald’s.
Long-time fans may recall that, throughout the late ’80s and early ’90s, McDonald’s offered a wide array of Italian dishes. The idea of picking up a pizza or lasagna from McDonald’s seems far-fetched today, but it was once a reality. And for a select few McDonald’s locations, a bowl of McSpaghetti is still on the menu!
Where Does McDonald’s Sell Spaghetti?
McSpaghetti—yup, the spaghetti has a classic McDonald’s menu name—is available at McDonald’s in the Philippines or one location in Orlando, Florida. While McSpaghetti used to be available nationwide in the U.S., but was eventually discontinued.
Why Does the Orlando Location Sell Spaghetti?
This isn’t any ordinary McDonald’s. In fact, it’s actually known as “Epic McD.” It’s even open 24 hours a day! And since it’s the largest McDonald’s in the United States, we’re not surprised.

Epic McD, with its 30-foot-tall neon Ronald McDonald sign, can offer spaghetti (and other types of pasta) because it isn’t run by McDonald’s corporate. When a McDonald’s isn’t run by corporate, franchise operators can pick and choose menu offerings as long as corporate approves of it. That’s why, beyond spaghetti, this McDonald’s offers even more unusual McDonald’s items.

What Other Unique Items Can You Buy at McDonald’s?
This menu is chock-full of non-typical McDonald’s items. Taste of Home community manager Angelica Cataldo had to go and check out the menu for us. She found Belgian waffles, paninis, cheesecakes and even build-your-own pizzas! Even the typical McDonald’s PlayPlaces are ramped up—this McDonald’s happens to have a massive arcade with over 100 games. All to say, if you’re ever in the Orlando area, plan to dig into an unexpectedly epic bowl of McDonald’s spaghetti and enjoy some other menu surprises, too.
