How to Make Pasta Chips in an Air Fryer, According to TikTok

Updated: Feb. 12, 2024

Forget boring potato chips and switch up your snacking with ridiculously delicious (and easy!) pasta chips.

TikTok always comes through for us with fun ideas. The creators on this video app have shown us everything from vegetarian corn ribs and spicy pickled garlic to twisted bacon. No matter what kind of food hack it may be, TikTok chefs have exactly what we didn’t know we needed.

So let’s add another ingenious snack hack to the list, shall we? This one will make you want to chuck all your half-eaten bags of potato chips…trust me! They’re called pasta chips, and they’re about to be your new summer snack.

How to Make Pasta Chips

This particular recipe comes from TikTok user @feelgoodfoodie and is supremely easy. Yumna Juwad, the blogger behind Feel Good Foodie, has shared her recipes with us in the past, and we love her!

Step 1: Cook your pasta

Cook your pasta of choice as usual. Penne, mostaccioli or ziti all work well. Strain the pasta after it’s done cooking and place in a bowl. Mix well with olive oil, grated Parmesan cheese and your favorite herbs and spices.

Step 2: Pop ’em in an air fryer

Place your pasta in your air fryer at 400°F for 10 minutes, tossing halfway through. The edges should be slightly golden brown and crispy. Cooking times may vary based on the amount of pasta chips you plan on making.

Time to Whip up Some Dip

@feelgoodfoodie made a whipped feta dip for her pasta chips, and we just knew we had to get our hands on that, too!

Step 1: Gather your ingredients

To make this dip, you’ll need feta cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil and garlic. It’s a match made in heaven, if I do say so myself. Yumna doesn’t give exact measurements, so just go with whatever your heart tells you. Remember—there’s no such thing as too much garlic!

Step 2: Blitz in a food processor

Take all your ingredients and give ’em a good swirl in a food processor or a blender. Once the ingredients have come together into a smooth, creamy dip, pour into a bowl and serve alongside your pasta chips. You may also garnish your dip with tomatoes and other herbs.
